Ashiya City (Hyogo Pref), population of 80000, locates on the east of Kobe
City, on the west of Nishinomiya City. Rokko Mountains on the north, and
facing Osaka Bay on the south. The east-west railways links Osaka area
with Kobe area. Ashiya River flows through the city from north to south
into Osaka Bay.
